An introduction to paper-folding as a method of modeling fractions with young or struggling learners. The focus will be on benchmark fractions and extending folding routines to other popular shapes (from strip to rectangle to circle).
A "next-level" exploration of paper-folding as a method for modeling concepts beyond fractions. The focus will be proportional relationships, equations, data, and the coordinate plane.
