This presentation offers a comprehensive and practical look at student safety—from understanding current risks to building a culture of prevention, partnership, and resilience. Participants will explore student safety review processes, an introduction to threat assessment, Safe2Say, caretaker partnerships, restorative practices, and student safety data review as essential components of a proactive school safety framework.

A unique feature of the presentation will be an engaging exploration of Sun Tzu’s The Art of War and how its timeless principles of strategy, preparation, intelligence, positioning, and understanding of the environment can be thoughtfully adapted to student safety and family partnerships.
