This session will be focused on how, in addition to embedding videos, you can create and embed Genially support activities into Canvas that can collect data and support asynchronous instruction. It will offer additional choices for delivering instruction on Canvas to meet student needs/preferences.
Student-led instruction requires letting go - much like watching a toddler pour their own juice! For those of us who prefer structure, it can feel uncomfortable. However, the payoff is that students experience deeper learning and retention while developing autonomy skills that benefit them inside and outside of the classroom! This session will emphasize how student-led instruction can be incorporated into the Danielson Framework. Participants will identify strategies for common implementation challenges, examine real examples of student-led instruction, and leave with actionable ideas for their own classrooms.
